Every day I come to work set up by the system to fail.

It is our job to make patients understand that a small delay is not going to be the end of the world. After all it is not like the cancer appeared yesterday. All you do is create stress and make me have to rush the more complicated part of the treatment #lcsm.

I have trouble convincing colleagues that it is okay to wait a week or two even to finish staging and coordinate the parts of treatment that need to be coordinated like getting XRT started by the start of cycle 2 #lcsm.

Is anyone aware of any data that says chemo needs to start instantaneously for patients with small cell lung ca? Even before staging is complete? #lcsm.
