Had a lovely chat with two lads on the bus home last night. One of them, half Polish, offered me some gear and put his address and number into my phone insisting I go to his on Christmas Eve for Wigilia.

It’s very important for people, particularly kids, to socialise. Alcohol isn’t the only or even the best way of making that happen. It’s pretty obvious really. Dare I say it might even be better for society if young people tried different ways, which they are.

are people really chilling out on the concourse saying “no rush, I’ve still got 119 seconds”
These new clocks are infuriating. Not remotely easy to tell how many seconds into the minute you are. There’s a big difference between being 61 and 119 seconds from your departure time when you’re in eg Charing Cross and you have no idea. Follow me for more fascinating tweets.
