What made this attack stand out:.🔺 Use of real personal information.🔺 Custom-built phishing portal.🔺 Familiar product names.🔺 Multiple communication channels. All designed to create trust.

The attacker posed as Coinbase support, used spoofed emails and domains, and built urgency through texts, calls, and convincing details. It was one of the most coordinated phishing attempts @mustbetherosas has seen.

The attack didn’t involve malware or wallet drainers. It relied on precision, timing, and social engineering.

In June, a dataset containing 16 billion user credentials was circulated online. It combined previously leaked information with newly obtained login data, making it one of the largest and most dangerous compilations of compromised accounts to date. Days later, @glxyresearch's.
