Today I’m setting up a monorepo boilerplate I’ll use for all my apps. 🛠️ On ReflectBay, I noticed that skipping a proper backend + testing new tools (edge functions, etc.) slowed me down. ➡️ Stack I use daily, ready to clone and ship fast (3 packages: server, mobile, web). ⚡

I have a huge respect for anyone juggling a startup job and hustling on the side. 🔥 I feel like I haven’t cracked the formula to balance both, yet. Being fully immersed and involved in a demanding startup role while trying to build my own thing… it’s a real challenge. 🤯

Mobile app builders, here’s the strategy I’ll do: 1. Don’t reinvent the wheel 2. Add a twist 3. Market with TT organic But let’s take a stop-smoking app. There are tons already. But maybe none are pushed on TT. How do you decide if a market is saturated or still worth a try? 🤔

Finally unboxed it today… and the gimbal seems to be damaged right out of the box. 😅 Small scratch, misalignment, and an error message at start. First time I’ve had this with new gear. 🤯 I hope shop will swap it tomorrow. 🤞 Content will have to wait a tiny bit longer… 👀

I’m overthinking my next mobile app idea. 🫨 I’m trying to think niche + marketing first. It's new for me as a dev, and not easy. Even relying on data, sometimes I find an idea, but upon checking, apps are not making money. 🤔 Any tips or resources for picking an app idea?

I’ve never made $ with my apps (yet). ReflectBay is my learning ground, but I feel I could be more intentional and dedicated (even with a startup job). Thinking of a build in public challenge: Build → Launch → Market → Monetize All this while sharing a short video daily. 🤔

My game plan to make $$$ with my apps: 1️⃣ ReflectBay is my first app. I use it to learn, experiment, and figure things out (monetization, marketing, etc.) 2️⃣ Use those learnings to build a second app (with a clear plan, especially for growth) 3️⃣ Repeat until things click 🤞

In the process of bringing more people to my app. 🌱 I feel like my pricing might have been a bit high, so I lowered it slightly as an experiment. Yesterday, 2–3 people came through from my content. Small win, but it means something's working. 🏆

After a week posting on my US TikTok account, something feels off. Barely hitting 100 views, 0-1 likes, even though it's reaching For You in the US. Next week, I’ll try a better setup for organic marketing. Struggling a bit, but not giving up. Just another problem to solve. 🙏

Learning organic marketing the hard way. Started recently, but so far: 0 users, 0 conversions, almost no views. 👀 I've been testing slide formats, posting content, etc. Still feels like shouting into the void. But this is how it is when you're just getting started. 💪
