Drought baby @callapilla wanted to make sure she would remain viable in drying climate, at least until the mortgage was paid off. But she forgot that abnormal could mean too wet, and that the climate crisis would bring floods as well as drought.

Does anyone know the facts about this development at Monash in the Riverland of South Australia. Apparently, 3500ha stage 1 & 10000ha eventually. Seems extraordinary & has massive consequences for the shape of irrigated agriculture in South Australia.
