@futurebees_nz should be set for a while with hive / box ID stickers... These will go out to our beekeeping partners to allow the beekeepers to easily tie their observations into a data management system, cutting out paperwork along the way. @AbacusBioNZ

The ideal stage for later processing is tan + purple-eyed drone pupae - young larvae don't always yield enough DNA to process because they are high in fats that can interfere with extraction. Finding enough (10+) of the right age can be a bit of a mission, though! @futurebees_nz
