Looking at this account, yes: when we last regularly posted here, it was still called Twitter. We’re still adjusting to the “X” thing. See you in 10 years? Just kidding. Thanks for the bug reports - this round of fixes came directly from them.

Sharing + sync are sturdier now: we hardened invite validation, improved availability accuracy, and tightened safety checks in contact/sync flows.

We also fixed some annoying UI behavior in Meet: dropdowns no longer jump around on long pages, and poll creation/editing now returns clearer error messages.

Meet updates: attendees can view voting times in poll timezone or local timezone, organizers can resend invites, and email notifications are now easier to control.

Contacts got quality improvements too: better handling for multiline address fields, and more resilient contact photo imports across tricky files.

Webapp now catches expired sessions earlier, so you’re less likely to type for 10 minutes and then discover you were logged out the whole time.

Time/date handling got a cleanup pass: settings are more flexible, timezone handling is more accurate, and the overall calendar experience is less “why is this offset weird?”.

Calendar reminders now do math correctly. Custom alarms (like 90 minutes before) display properly and save reliably, and we fixed several event-save edge cases.

It’s been a while. No launch video, no dramatic rebrand - just a lot of fixes. Here’s a quick tour of what’s new in fruux.

We had degraded service over the last couple of weeks. We’ve shipped multiple fixes and performance optimizations. Things are now stable and significantly faster. We’re monitoring closely.

Just noticed something interesting in "Updates & improvements" for the latest FRITZ!Box 7590 Lab version over at @AVM_DE: Looks like CardDAV support is in the works! 🥳 https://t.co/WTLivLz1ic

This applies to 2Do Reminders sync as well (over CalDAV). Apple, in their infinite wisdom, have decided to disable Reminders sync over CalDAV once you tap "Upgrade". All data will migrate to a new storage location, and removed from CalDAV (including 2Do and other 3rd party apps)
Important: Once Catalina / iOS 13 comes out, if you value syncing your iCloud Reminders with BusyCal, do NOT tap on "Upgrade" when you're prompted by the Reminders app to upgrade your lists. iCloud will delete all your data from all 3rd party Calendaring apps, including BusyCal.

Our monitoring didn't pick up an unhealthy server. Requests served by this server failed, which caused hiccups. Fixed now.

Syncs running smoothly again. Temporary fix for now, there might be further hiccups once we work on a permanent fix, but we'll do that during low-usage hours.

We’re working on a capacity issue that's causing failed syncs.

As entertaining as this whole thread was. We're declaring it officially over now. If you want to have a chat, offer to follow up via email and for ☕️ still stands. Looking forward to the next three years of this discussion. @foliovision
