Pride this year is different, as festivities are to return in person. Over two years we were kept in isolation for safety, as illness and fear kept us more than 2 metres apart. Friends of Ruby is a safe place for you to connect with community, virtually and in-person!

It’s important to recognize the emotional distress Queer folks may be navigating this Pride. “Navigating Emotional Distress,” is an article in our bio filled with toolkits for folks coping with mental health. This one is to help folks with anxiety, through mindfulness practice.

This Pride month, the KitKat Chocolatory is partnering with @friendsofrubyca to create a limited-edition Pride bar available at Yorkdale mall all of June. All proceeds will be donated to @friendsofrubyca whose mission is to support the progressive well-being of LGBTQI2S youth.

From physical and mental health care to housing, employment and legal support and more, there are many vital organizations serving 2SLGBTQ+ communities in this city. Get to know them, visit them in person and remember, your support and engagement can go beyond this month #Pride
