Some interesting ideas here by young people from #Rwanda: #MillenZMovementRw

This is a very articulate young lady. Let's hope she stays safe.
🔥 @FirstLadyRwanda seeking distance, a collapsing authoritarian household, NY court evidence, corruption, hypocrisy, and the abuse of women. For 30 years, Rwandans were told that the @PaulKagame household was “perfect,” “unbreakable,” and the model family” everyone should

I don't know who the speaker is. The slide contains factual errors, but interestingly it says, contrary to @DrDamascene's claims, that Antoine Ntashamaje was one of the authors. Thank you @aysesila1975, I'll bookmark this.
Your ears must have been burning — we talked about you and your Constitution at the conference, Prof @freyntje... 😅 @HarelimanaAK

Not boring. I write books. My latest https://t.co/0MeNWbiu6t includes the Musinga period. Unlike Amani Athar I quote sources and don't invent stories.

@freyntje @NewTimesRwanda Dear @freyntje, it seems your retirement is so boring to you. How are you interested in that simple story of King Musinga's birth? Don't you have any books to read or grandchildren to spend time with? Poor Muzungu life! #RwOT #RwoX

Amani Athar @NewTimesRwanda writes great novels. His fantasy is boundless. Perhaps he should provide sources for his stories.

There are different accounts about the place where King Yuhi V Musinga was born. Some say that he was born in Kamuronsi, in Masisi territory, in DR Congo’s Province of North...

Thanks, now I understand. So @PaulKagame simply took it like colonial powers did?
When Belgium claimed Rwanda, Burundi, and Congo as their territory, who exactly did they buy it from? From whom and at what price? Man Uri umurezi w’umubiligi wa danger!

'his farm'. Did @PaulKagame buy it, when, from whom, against which price, with whose money?
President Kagame welcomed His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani @TamimBinHamad, the Emir of the State of Qatar, upon his arrival at Kigali International Airport, before hosting him at his farm in Kibugabuga, where the two leaders are now holding a tête-à-tête meeting.

.@prevotmaxime ne dit évidemment rien au sujet des crimes commis par le @rpfinkotanyi au #Rwanda et en #RDC.

As I can't reply I must repost. I have sympathy for @Ckayumba, forced to give up after years of courageous struggle. That he's now applauded by #MINUBUMWE's @paul_rukesha on @X tells it all. Likewise, @ChroniclesRW now mainly resorts to reposting regime outlet @ktpressrwanda.
If you truthfully read my post on your debate with @DrDamascene,you will see that my point of departure is on the theoretical &methodological lens you use to study & explain Rwanda & the practical-ethical consequences of that choice. If,as an academic you can't see that,i shudder!

I understand @Ckayumba's position after years of repression. First arrested in 2019, then again in 2021 after creating RPD. He's not the first nor will be the last to give up fighting for a free and democratic #Rwanda. Sad to now see him join the @rpfinkotanyi propaganda machine.
Beside reading some of their works,I have been following the debate btn @freyntje & @DrDamascene. Here are 4 problems & solution i deduce from their exchange: 1)A theoretical & methodological problem:@freyntje approaches Rwanda from an ethnic lens & can't imagine alternatives;1/4

"Things happen". Would @realDonaldTrump have said that if his son or wife had been murdered and cut to pieces? He's a VAP (Very Awful Person).

.@DrDamascene continues to shamelessly spread his false propaganda. He doesn't dare engage in a direct contradictory exchange with me. As long as he keeps chickening out I will no longer react to his nonsense.
When @freyntje calls me the "biggest liar of the RPF-INKOTANYI," he pretends to ignore the obvious facts that prove this false and unjust judgment applies to him instead: 1) First of all, let's clarify that the RPF is not composed of liars but of liberators of a country, Rwanda,

@grok_rujindili @freyntje @TomNdahiro Elections with 90%+ margins often reflect engineered outcomes rather than genuine consensus, relying on exclusion and intimidation to sustain the facade. Rwanda's regime fears Ingabire precisely because her exclusion highlights the lack of real competition, risking exposure of

@grok_rujindili @freyntje @TomNdahiro Regimes fear figures like Victoire Ingabire because she challenges their monopoly on historical narratives and pushes for inclusive politics that include all victims of Rwanda's violence. Her persistence, despite imprisonment and exclusion from elections, draws international

.@DrDamascene keeps diverting. All this is addressed in the text I shared. Please debunk it. Repeating lies, for instance on the preamble and Antoine Ntashamaje's participation in the drafting process, shows this isn't a debate. I'll stop reacting until you no longer chicken out.
1) The substance @freyntje ? All my messages are concrete, based on your own writings, and you're incapable of responding to them. 2) The discriminatory articles in your 1978 Rwandan Constitution? I've given them to you and repeated them a thousand times. Reread my X messages.

I wasn't tight with Ngeze. Met him only once in Kigali and accused him of ethnic extremism in a paper. Something published in Kangura made me think he had useful information on the plane attack. Turned out to be a loose end.
@freyntje @NoelKambanda @rpfinkotanyi You could tell your side of the story instead of deflecting, you know! At least you don't deny how tight you were with Ngeze!👍🏾
