If kamone somehow nerfs jumping normals to completely kill j.a the game will be saved. I don't think anyone actually likes playing around jump normals as opposed to the classic throw os triangle.

It's not so hard to wait for the opponent to land after VO to get an ideal punish with 214AC, but especially in neutral scrambles, it's really difficult. Kamone-san, help. .

Maybe I'm being stubborn. It's definitely possible to confirm in different ways, but having to account for both counterhit AND whether or not the opponent is airborne feels needlessly strict. Confirming 214AC successfully also feels good in part because it's very unsafe on block!.

Can you 214A no cancel and confirm? Yes. Can you 214AB instead? Absolutely. Will you get the same quality of amage? Absolutely not. The situation is: 214A > COUNTER! > "High damage opportunity!" > ~C > "Oh, now I can't pick up without spending meter. ".

As far as Ogre qol: not being able to pick up on air hit 214AC without resources (even on counterhit) is maybe the most annoying aspect of his kit imo. It's especially rough because that's his ideal counterhit starter for damage, but you MUST confirm if the opponent is grounded.
