This is a massive issue affecting millions of family firms and employees will mean companies have to cut back on long-term asset based investment companies will have to be broken up or sold to multinationals meaning less jobs and job security for employees
bbc.co.uk
Farmers have dominated the debate over changes to inheritance tax – but the issue is much wider than that.

WE Growers Shared the pain.(£21/t) & need to share the gains. I made losses from those low prices with the added soil damage. Now short term thinking 🧐 is just back at the forefront of BS board. Abuse of the market place??

British Sugar want all the cake. Short term thinking for an industry that needs beet growers for animal feed limex aggregate topsoil cannabis energy production oh and beet. Make your mind BS. Collaboration or bust. No investment from beet growers signals decline in the crop. £45

Research at @CSURams on powdery scab management suggest buckwheat, legumes, and barley are NOT hosts of Spongospora subterranean and could be used as cover crops in potato rotations! Read more at https://t.co/RwbZ9MfcKN!

I have just watched news at 10 on bbc1. A fair even handed report on food from 2204 to 2210. I find the message is getting there. Just the next clear thought will be keeping food production in the uk. Great food grown carefully , nutritional and sustainably.

Untreated Zyatt. Great trial site for new techniques. Frightening how good teb is. Still needed as long as Zyatt is needed for gp1 milling wheat

Fridays soil compaction👇 📌root penetration rates can be c. 20mm/day in good loose soil 📌🥔growth rates are halved at 1.5Mpa soil resistance (compaction) 📌3MPa resistance root growth is <2mm/day 📌Slower growth 🟰 lower yield #wetsoils #Potato #Planting23
