I find religion to be absurd, and I couldn't possibly believe in it. But, society has lost something with the death of religion. Our sense of community and responsibility to each other has declined, and people have retreated into other toxic forms of group identity to compensate.

Seriously, if Patrick Roy storms into my office demanding a trade because he hates the coach, I tell him the coach is gone if he stays. I do everything I can to keep him happy. He is irreplaceable.

I will never understand why a team would prioritize keeping their dime-a-dozen coach over their generational superstar player. Imagine any other team doing this now.
