Just two adopted souls enjoying each other’s company and a spot of sun puddling this morning. 🌞🐾🐾. Both Ralph the Lurcher and Ember the cat faced very uncertain futures before I adopted them. But now they’re safe & loved and that’s all that matters. #AdoptDontShop

It would have been my old dad’s 90th birthday today. Ralph & I have been to visit his grave and now he’s back home, snoozing with Ember the cat. We also met our lovely friend Olivia the dog walker. 🐾🐾. Ralph adores her & the bum scritches he gets from her. 😋

It’s been too warm to walk Ralph today, so I cycled along the coastal path and went to see my old mate Sid for a cuppa. I really went to see his rescue Lurcher Tigger, but don’t tell Sid that. 🤫😋🐾🐾. #AdoptDontShop

We’ve been t’pub where Ralph met his mate Murphy the Airedale Terrier. 🍺🍺🐾🐾

A cracking 26 mile loop on the mountain bike, taking in the coastal path, Cheshire Lines disused railway line and the Leeds & Liverpool canal. 🚲. Bumped into my mate Eddie & had a brew. That’s set me up nicely for a beer later with Ralph and my old mate & colleague Jeff. 🍺🍺

Mr June, aka Lord Ralphington loafing around the garden this evening. I’d been doing some work inside the house and came outside to find him quietly lying on the lawn enjoying the birdsong. I love how he now feels confident enough to take himself off outside. #AdoptDontShop
