Spice Shuttle, by SpiceJet, is India's first-ever seaplane service. It will operate multiple daily flight between Ahmedabad and the Statue of Unity, Kevadia.

In view of the prevalent COVID-19 situation in India, Spice Shuttle is suspending its seaplane operations until further notice. Please wear a mask, wash your hands thoroughly and stay at home unless absolutely necessary. We hope to resume normal operations soon!

We will resume operations in about 15 days’ time, once the aircraft is back. Such prolong suspension will be avoided in the future as the maintenance facility (dry & wet docks) at Ahmedabad will be ready during this period. (2/2)

Seaplane operations have been temporarily suspended due to mandatory aircraft maintenance. Since the maintenance facility (dry & wet dock) is still under construction at Ahmedabad; we have to send the aircraft to our lessor's facility in Maldives. (1/2)

The SpiceShuttle seaplane is undergoing routine maintenance. The crew has also been rested as per FDTL (Flight Duty Time Limitation) guidelines. The operations will resume from Nov. 6, 2020 onwards. Additional crew set will also join the team at Ahmedabad from next week onwards.

The one-of-a-kind seaplane that will give flight to a million dreams made its way to Kevadia (Statue of Unity) at 12.30 pm yesterday from Maldives. In the next few days it will undergo extensive trials, following which it will be all set to take off, starting October 31st, 2020.
