It may not be popular or “accepted,” but a GOOD teacher must unapologetically choose to do what’s right for students! Lead with your heart and keep students at the center of everything you do! No one can say anything if that’s how you carry out the profession of teacher.

My prayer today, and every day, is that I exemplify what a “good human” is to my students. I hope that they leave my classroom, daily, knowing that I love and care for them. I am #blessed to live out my dream as their teacher every single day!

My heart breaks! Someone’s kid died today in a public school. A place where students should feel safe and secure. Something must change!

Finally made it home from the #AMLE25 conference! A wonderful week learning great instructional practices, meeting amazing people and finding time to even see my family while in Indy! Beyond #blessed for opportunity!

Two people came up to me during the #AMLE25 conference and said, “I know you from somewhere.” or “I’ve heard your name before.” A simple reminder that your name is being spoken in spaces where you have no idea you have a presence in. I receive the blessings that come from this!
