In India, 14 players and officials from the Goa Professional League are facing criminal charges for fixing matches. One of them is a police officer! Most of them are from the club Chapora Yuvak Sangh, who are accused of fixing at least four of their 2025 matches.

More tennis players have been suspended for corruption offences: Gustavo Tedesco (Brazil) was banned for 27 months for fixing three matches in late 2022 Gyulnara Nazarova (retired Russian player) was banned for four years for fixing matches in 2019

Two tennis players have reported attempts at blackmailing them into fixing matches. Roman Burruchaga and Nikolas Sanchez Izquierdo were told their family would be harmed if they didn't agree to lose their next match at last week’s Challenger event in Rosario, Argentina.

Sportradar has reported a 1% decrease in suspicious matches in 2025 compared to 2024. They identified 1,116 suspicious matches in 2025.

The Czech FA's integrity officer Kamil Javurek has claimed that the number of fixed football matches in Czechia fell by around 80% in 2025 compared to 2023-24.

The Finnish FA is investigating match-fixing in the country's lower leagues, the third-tier Kakkonen and fourth-tier Kolmonen. Between 5-10 matches from 2025 are under investigation, as well as dozens more from previous years. The club FC Finnkurd is being investigated.

73 people previously found guilty of criminal activities have been banned for life, including the former manager of the Chinese national team Li Tie and the former CFA head Chen Xuyuan. This is on top of the 60 people given lifetime bans by the FA last year.

In Israel, 17 players and officials from Kiryat Yam FC have been arrested. Allegedly, the club is run by a criminal organisation that fixes matches and launders money. Kiryat Yam have achieved three promotions in five years, including a season where they won every match.

Friendly matches in North Macedonia have also been cancelled due to the risk of match-fixing. GFK Ohrid are accused of fixing their friendly match against Rabotnicki, which they lost 8-2 on 22 Jan. Their matches against KF Arsimi and Teteks Tetovo have now been cancelled.

This is the third tier of Mexican football. I guess fixers should just stick to the fourth tier where apparently nobody cares about blatant match-fixing.

The Serie A de Mexico league match between Cañoneros and Heroes de Zaci, scheduled for last night, was postponed due to a "match-fixing threat". Five Heroes de Zaci players reported being "threatened and extorted" to fix the match.

Two tennis players have been provisionally suspended while anti-corruption investigations are carried out: Alana Tuayeva (Russia) and Nikol Palecek (Serbia). Three "national level tennis officials" from Serbia and Hungary have also been provisionally suspended.

In Malta, it is being reported that several members of the national men’s water polo team bet against their own team in matches at the European Championships. The 10 Jan match against Montenegro and the 12 Jan match against France are the matches that were allegedly fixed.

The club claimed that their players walked off because of aggressive behaviour of their opponents but it’s more likely to have been some sort of internal dispute about whether or not to fix the match. Their prior three Arena Cup matches were fixed.

KF Arsimi players walked off the field during today's Arena Cup match against Odra Opole. They were leading 2-0 at the time, but odds for Arsimi to lose the match had been decreasingly significantly before the second goal was scored.
