Why do people like Tishana’s Tidebinder so much in Control? I see streamers siding it in constantly and praising it, etc. The card is so mid and neither ever does anything (unless the opponent is all in on Jace) or answers the obvious threats in the format.

Roland on basically Napster. Saw him Burning Wish for Armageddon and Call of the Herd. Wish I saw him Burning Wish for Tranquility, but alas!. Merchant Scroll for Fire // Ice with Engineered Plague in play was lights out for Gobbo. Amazing 8-0 (in games!) start before Top 4.

Lost to the great (and even hotter than usual) @swbmtg in the Top 4 of The Bearded Dragon #premodern $1k yesterday. Thanks to SWB for drawing with me in the Swiss! Dude can't lose these days. Only 5 sb cards were any good all day. But I beat DN 3x.

Looks like I’m going to have one of my best friends @landho in the quarterfinals of the #premodern League Championship. The big difference between us is that Lan’s record was built on three 3-0s and one 1-2; whereas I just played almost every week. Wish me luck! I’ll need it.

Not sure how I feel about the men’s #WWEMITB match. I think I don’t like how they used such an important match to advance the Bloodline storyline. If they were going to pitch that winner I think I’d have booked more linear interference. Have to noodle on this.
