There are 17,000 organic grain farmers in the U.S. who could benefit from this tool—not to mention hundreds of thousands of conventional and specialty grain farmers who could transition more easily with better management.

And we’re not stopping there: We’re sharing our farm management system for free In Spring 2025, we’re launching a DIY kit so farmers can build their own analog version. We’ve open-sourced the code on GitHub for tech-savvy farmers. Eventually, there will be a SAAS version.

Fast Forward to Today 📷 We’ve raised non-diluted funding from Mad Agriculture and The Schmidt Family Foundation to build our beta version. With the help of Jamie Gaehring and Cloudburst, we’re rolling out Farm Flow to a handful of test farms in 2025.

Then came the aha moment: The same records we were keeping for our farm were exactly what USDA requires for organic certification. What if we could put this tool in farmers’ hands? What if real-time task management could seamlessly generate reports for certification?

To solve this, we built a $300 MVP—a simple visual tool to prioritize tasks. The results? Our best farm season ever. We grew a record crop Our team stayed motivated and organized We created a new farm management system

How It Started 📷 In 2022, we ran data analysis on our own farm to understand what truly impacts yield. The biggest takeaway? Frequent weed control passes led to higher yields. Sounds obvious, right? But executing this consistently is hard.

Why Farm Flow? Scaling organic and sustainable farms isn’t just about growing crops—it’s about managing complexity. One of the biggest barriers to entry in organic farming is paperwork and certification. Farm Flow is a low-cost, simple software solution.
