So proud of my students & the progress they’ve made on writing justifications for inquiry labs. They struggled at first with recurring themes but are now able to recognize RTs in their research & explain how they support their claim. @RiddleElem @fisdelemscience #FISDmadetoshine

Force & Motion Inquiry! I am so proud of these scientists as they embraced the challenge of designing their own investigations to test the effects of force on an object. It was a loud & crazy day of authentic learning.@NewmanFriscoISD @JEFlemmer #Inquiry #NewmanIsFutureReady

I went into classrooms and interviewed S in their math stations. They were able to coach me through what they had learned and it was evident they were using math talk. I even saw a fabulous guided math small group in 3rd grade! Check out the clear expectations, too. @S3rdgrade

Playing games with vocabulary helps students solidify learning once they’ve explored & now have an experience to make the words have meaning. The diagrams helps students understand what 3D objects looks like when flat on paper. Good things are happening at Bright Academy!

When I am asked how I get my students to LOVE to read, I tell them three things: 1. Every finished novel is celebrated! 2. No reading logs! 3. So much choice! (Finished novels from my two 5th grade classes after 13 days of school!!) #proudteacher #believeinyourshelf
