A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms while it’s good, as a reader and super fan of the universe I love it.. I love to see these characters fully realized. I highly doubt it will appeal to a wider audience. I found the premiere to be lacking.. it won’t do the numbers of GOT or HOTD

if you missed it: hotdog's main issue is turning every woman into the same cardboard 'i just want peace' npc with no agency. even got writing was more nuanced because the women actually had different personalities, goals, and motives instead of being copy-pasted pacifist dolls
akotsk will be criticised less harshly and with less derangement than hotd because it's a closer to the text adaptation. but also because it's about men rather than women
