Our coffee pages have been needing some love for a while, so very happy I was able to give them a quick facelift last week. Was mostly just building out the UI, so took about a day. Built in @bubble. Was inspired by a little editorial & a little pokemon. 😅

Always on the hunt for a coffee that blows me away. This was one of them. A Rwandan Natural oozing with a blueberry like aroma. Only thing I’ve been able to brew all week. Whatever’s left of this is going in the freezer. ✨🥲

For Phin, pulling a perfect shot and perfecting latte art were driven by what drove him to get into DIY projects and building products. “It’s about craft and learning how to make things yourself”.

Working remotely comes a lot of challenges — lines start to blur and life can be lived fully in front of a screen. “Find ways to break up your day, even if it’s just changing rooms once your workday is done.”

Phin knew he had to be intentional in his new WFH lifestyle. “I asked my wife to buy me an espresso machine for Christmas because it forced me to take a break from the computer twice a day, away from my office.”

“All I had was a drill when I started” He now shares his adventures DIY-ing online ( https://t.co/ujEdNEXHgf) “I had to go and buy all those weird tools you see online. Every subsequent project, you gain confidence. The trick is to take something apart and put it back together”

Without the daily commute, he found new ways to keep busy. “I started doing a lot of projects myself. It started simple, like painting and became more complex, like changing faucets. The project that really got me into it was installing new hardwood floors from scratch.”

Phin (@nsphin) lives in Delson, Quebec, but works for @cloudapp, a company in the States as a product manager. “Every time you work on something new it has new challenges, and you just always have to adjust”.

Gavin and his cofounders built @useFluent, a web extension that helps you learn a language while browsing the web. They dream of a world where language isn’t a barrier for human connection. (3/6)

Like an astronaut, Gavin wakes up in a living space shared with his fellow teammates, in his case, 3 other cofounders. “It’s hectic, but beautiful. Working together is our superpower. It’s so easy for us to sink our teeth into an idea”. (2/6)

Gavin (@GKND95) was 21 when he met an astronaut that walked on the moon. Little did he know, he would also find a career path that was all about diving into the unknown. (1/6)
