AFD Water Rescue Team and several Fire Maintenance SCBA Techs completed a Dive Mask Technician re-certification class yesterday at Cuyahoga Falls Fire Station 5. Re-certified members will continue post dive and annual maintenance of Akron Fire’s Dive Masks. #330forthe330

While companies were operating on E Cuyahoga Falls Ave, an apartment fire came in on the west side companies. First due companies were met with heavy fire conditions. No occupants were home at time of the fire. However, one dog was found deceased by firefighters. #330forthe330

About 4:30 yesterday afternoon, B shift crews were dispatched to a commercial fire on E Cuyahoga Falls Ave and Patterson Ave. Heavy smoke and fire at tire shop. Companies, again, quickly brought the fire under control. The fire is under investigation. #330forthe330

Around noon yesterday, B shift companies responded to a kitchen a fire on the city's south side. Upon arrival, E13 found the whole kitchen on fire. An aggressive interior attack was initiated, and the fire was quickly brought under control. #330forthe330

It is Breakfast with Santa day! Local 330 was excited to host 70 firefighter’s and retiree’s children and grandchildren. Each child got a chance to sit with Santa, grab a photo, and went home with a small gift from the big man. Merry Christmas to everyone! #330forthe330

Earlier this evening, A shift crews were dispatched to a commercial structure fire on South St. Heavy smoke and fire from a second floor apartment with reports of people trapped. 2 civilians were rescued and the fire was quickly contained. No firefighter injuries. #330forthe330
