Its been a little while since we did a new thought leadership piece, but Gemini 3.0 is here, so why not.. "The Disruption Mindset: Why Successful Leaders Randomly Reorganize Departments Every 3 Months" https://t.co/Q3cs2y0jRu

Really detailed post mortem from the @Cloudflare team. We all get to learn from what wrong, and that is always a good thing.

Personal view, but acquiring @replicate is yet another piece of compounding investments and work from @Cloudflare

Reflecting on this again today as we see the Stable Diffusion etc appearing in @cloudflare Workers AI https://t.co/JwJUNPB7zE I'd remarked to a number of clients in $oldjob that the @cloudflare @nvidia partnership had the potential to be super interesting.

Big news: Replicate is joining Cloudflare. Replicate's going to carry on as a distinct brand, and all that will happen is that it’s going to get way better: it’ll be faster, we’ll have more resources, and it’ll integrate with the rest of Cloudflare’s Developer Platform.

Late to this, but congrats to @rwang0 and the entire @constellationr team, past & present, on 15 years. Don't always agree with the research but, having worked in small and large analyst firms, the industry overall needs multiple voices and viewpoints. Keep going :).

Always liked the @arduino kit, and it was very popular when we ran @thingmonk. Interested to see how it evolves now.

Vibe coding is irresponsibly building software through dice rolls, not caring what code is produced What about when engineers at the top of their game use AI tools responsibly to accelerate their work? I propose "vibe engineering"!

Anyone have a pdf copy of the 2024 DORA report? @googlecloud have set the download form to redirect to the 2025 AI Assisted report published earlier this year. Reminded why I generally keep an archive of these things.

I have, as you would expect, used it with @github Copilot in VS Code Insiders on a few personal projects and I have been blown away with how good Spec Kit is. Spec Kit also works with @AnthropicAI Claude Code & the @Google Gemini CLI. It formalizes the process a lot of

We have seen a lot of noise recently around Spec Driven Development. My colleagues open sourced Spec Kit (link in next comment). This is one of these quiet releases that if I had my former @Gartner_inc or @redmonk analyst hat on I would be telling every single client about.

That’s right. You lose your ability to be creative, you lose the ability to sprint (because you’re always wrecked,) and you cannot gain any perspective over time (because everything is always a crisis, even if you pretend it isn’t). Steady sustainable pace is what outperforms.

Anecdotally, I’ve found the people most vocal and showy about grinding hard (9-9-6) tend to have less throughput than a garden variety workaholic. I suspect this is because they’ve internalized endurance pace all the time. And loose the ability to sprint when needed.
