It was a pleasure to reflect candidly, without straining to think about how I can do better next year, on my pupillage application journey. In particular, the role (both good and bad) that social media use played. Many thanks to @CharlieMoloney and @TimesLaw for the feature.
Enjoyed speaking to @finishedloading about how he built momentum as a legal commentator on 'legal Twitter' and through his blog. He secured a traineeship at @MatrixChambers after a four-year odyssey, in which he carried on powerlifting, for @TimesLaw

I am very pleased to have accepted an offer of traineeship at @MatrixChambers, commencing in October 2026. I can't wait to get started working on the cutting-edge legal issues raised across Chambers' immense expertise in a range of practice areas.

After 4 years and 52 pupillage applications, this year is finally my year! . I now have a tough decision to make, but I feel very lucky to be in such a position after these years. I'm going to be a barrister!.
Rarely share personal news here but - no pupillage for me this year. The time for reflection will come but for now I’m allowing myself to experience the disappointment. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the process, I’m really grateful! 🙂.
