Like the author might've just had a stritng memory of the curtains in his grandmother's house being blue and it struck him as nostalgic or maybe blue is his favorite color and it struck him as beautiful or maybe they're representing sadness. That's why it's fun to analyze !!

It's not something I necessarily judge people for but I definitely can notice it & it's one of the reasons I wouldn't necessarily want a dog. I also feel like I have to wash my hands whenever I pet them bc they're a little greasy. But cute!

& I think there's conversations to be had abt when it's harmful or perpetuating bad idealogies, but I think the moral panic over dark fantasies (VERY NORMAL TO HAVE) is overblown.

Like, ask anyone "would you rather be confronted with another human person or be in nature" and there's a good amount of people who would prefer nature bc of course that's less scary and confronting. It doesn't prove anything except.
