#Turkey & #Syria Response Update! We are deploying a 5-person water purification team from @MOBaptistsDR to set up purification systems with our local partners, as well as distribute 500 water filters to families in need. 🙏 Pray for the team's safety as they travel & serve.

This weekend more than 200 filters were taken to a town in Pakistan near the Afghanistan border. There are more than 300,000 refugees living there. Please pray with us as our partners take clean water and the Gospel to people in desperate need of both.

Join us in praying for those in Ukraine who will soon receive clean drinking water and will hear the Gospel. Pray for those on the ground who will risk their lives to take the Gospel to those in need.

We are working to initially send 5,000 water filters to partners and local churches on the ground who will distribute to refugee camps, medical clinics, and those areas that have been impacted by this crisis. Please pray with us!

But, as we have continued to monitor the situation in Ukraine and the surrounding areas, we are seeing how dire the situation is. We are hearing from so many partners that clean water is needed. Now.

Initially, it was difficult to assess whether or not clean water was a need among those being displaced. In addition to this, many organizations or ministries we consulted with were experiencing difficulty after difficulty when it came to getting to those in need.

Will you pray with us? Over the past 4 days, we have seen the water crisis in & around Ukraine grow at an alarming rate. We are in communications with partners to get filters in the hands of local churches and ministries on the ground. We are trusting the Lord to make a way.

These filters can produce up to 1000 liters of clean drinking water a day. Thank you for bringing health and hope to families far and wide!

Did you know the average price of bottled water in Central America ranges from $1-$4 per liter. When families receive a water filter, they no longer have to spend money on bottled water, but they can get clean drinking water straight from the filter.

We’re rejoicing because over 100 pastors in India have received training on how to use filters as an effective tool for evangelism. Less than 50% of India has access to safe drinking water and over 95% of the population is unreached.

During these trips, our teams will partner with the local churches in bringing clean water and the gospel to families throughout different communities. Please pray that the Lord would prepare the hearts of those traveling and those who will hear the good news of Jesus!
