GTW Highlight No.38: A nice September surprise was when Mark Kirkby (Code Monkeys) got in touch to share his impressive 1992 #GameBoy road engine prototype that later evolved into Road Rash. Now play the demo and check out the complete source code too! https://t.co/3kcd9xkSo1

An early Christmas update! In the late 80s, Level 9 built H.U.G.E to push beyond text adventures. One casualty was Grange Murders, an ambitious Cinemaware animated detective game with multiple crimes. Canned in 1991, PC demos & assets have been unearthed! https://t.co/Q5YwUypmaa

GTW Highlight No.34: In August, we added a set of early prototypes for Fulltime Soccer on #GameBoyColor, which was eventually released by Datel Electronics. Interestingly, it seemed the game was built on top of the #Gameboy version of Super Kick Off. https://t.co/XWMJEm3CBY

Earlier this year, WN3DL and @krzbrew preserved Chokkan ☆ Shutokō Battle (C1 Loop)! Released in 2007, the game originally required you to tilt the phone to steer the car, but @m3M0RyHuN73R was able to hack the game to use keypad controls. The game runs surprisingly well!

GTW Highlight No.32: In August we added a completely different development of Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX for #GameBoyColor from DC Studios. Sadly didn't get far, before Acclaim gave the gig to another dev team. A very early prototype + GDD to check out: https://t.co/Yc6eI5RNhM

GTW Highlight No.31: In August, we added an unknown GameBoy Color prototype called "Some Metal Head" (working title), created during the early days of DC Studios. Seems to be start of a sort of Metal Slug/Turrican style game that sadly didn't get far: https://t.co/vcS5onaQbC
