neither the people blaming alicent nor the ones defending her actually understand why she is the kind of mother she is and i need everybody to stfu about alicent and aegon #QUICKLY
And this is how you love your disappointing kid, Alicent! Maekar knows Aerion is an awful person, but he’s still his son and he will protect him. This show has much better family dynamics than HOTD. The characters really feel like family and show real human emotions.

he really really does 💔 he obv isn't afraid of being strict &harsh with him at times (and why wouldn't he be. have u seen aerion) but i don't think he would straight up tear aerion's newborn from his arms unless aerion was posing a genuine threat to his child's &his own safety
