Todays achievements: > reposted on reddit > warmed up an insta account > prepped a PDF I will share for free on TikTok & Insta It was somewhat of a productive day, but I didnt take a pause during work so I ended up with a headache… Next time I‘ll do the pomodoro technique

Achievements of the day: > 1st reddit post + interactions (value based, no product mentioning yet) > completed my marketing strategy - time to act > thought about pivoting, but will stay with just hooks for now (for context, my app: @smarthooksai ) How do you like the app idea?

I‘m about to start marketing on TikTok & Insta, might reupload on YT shorts. Made me wonder: Does anybody here really use Shorts to promote their Apps or is it a waste of time?

To all the TikTok marketers: For how long should I warm up TikTok/instagram/YT accounts before posting videos?

Recently got an annoying DM of someone promoting sth. BUT there was a lesson. He gave a compliment, asked a question regarding & wrote his 1 sentence pitch. Sounds decent? No. It sounded disingenious. The lesson: NEVER sell in the first message. Build rapport first.

Stuck in the trenches while working on @smarthooksai All I can do right now is marketing: - Writing reddit comments (building up karma) - posting on X - Thinking of a TikTok strategy to grow the waitlist Still trying to validate my idea, will keep you guys updated 🫡

Spent some time warming up my reddit account today. Everybody promoting their tool is using AI to create these posts, and redditors are not having it. If you market on reddit, building up karma before posting is important. Also, be a human being, not another AI written ad…

Todays achievements: ✅ Commented on reddit to build up karma & trust ✅ Done some research about building my MVP ✅evaluated whether I should market my waitlist & then build or build the MVP directly I‘ll keep marketing for now (still looking for validation of my idea)

It‘s monday and we are locked in, working on our projects, task by task. However don‘t forget to zoom out once in a while, so you don‘t loose sight of the bigger picture & your priorities.

That app idea you love? It's worthless. Why? 1. You're not executing 2. You haven't validated I've killed ideas I loved because: The market didn't care Someone built it better I found a bigger problem Don't fall in love with ideas. Fall in love with solving problems.

People on social media dont want polished. They want “real”. In a world full of AI slob & editet photos, realness & authenticity is the exception. If you market your app on Tiktok & Instagram keep this in mind.

Things that HURT my productivity: ❌Productivity apps ❌Long morning routines (just start working) ❌Todo lists (never-ending) ❌"Hustle culture" content ❌Productivity content Things that HELP: ✅Saying no ✅Fewer tools ✅Boredom ✅Walks without phone ✅Ignoring most advice

My notes app has 37 app ideas I'd love to build. My calendar has time blocked for exactly one. One thing done is worth more than ten things started.

Your app idea already exists. And that's GOOD news. It means: ✅There's demand ✅People pay for solutions ✅You can learn from competitors ✅You just need to be 10% better "No competition" usually means "no market". Stop worrying about uniqueness. Worry about being better.

Google wasn't the first search engine, Facebook wasn't the first social network. iPhone wasn't the first smartphone, Notion wasn't the first note app. Being first means: Educating the market (expensive) Making all the mistakes Running out of money Being better is cheaper.

Speaking from your experience: Quality > quantity OR quantity > Quality when it comes to growing on X?

Building an app is like going to the gym: ❌ Reading about workouts = Watching tutorials ❌ Buying equipment = trying tools ❌ Planning the perfect routine = Architecting the perfect system ✅Actually lifting weights = Shipping & iterating You don't get users from planning
