Except for power, everything is an illusion. "Abolitionists" have held the highest office before, and the CIA liquidated them and their whole unarmed movements. @boring__you what the fuck are you talking about, of course it's not a "terrain of struggle." This is all illusions.
How Zohran's campaign is to be evaluated is contingent on whether one believes the juridico-political level is a terrain of abolitionist struggle or whether one defines abolition as the negation of the state as such.

Space is "empty," there's not much to *discover* out there. What there is, is energy and continuity for us and the rest of earth's life. We must go to space—but to increase our ability to dive deeper into the processes already unfolding among us here.
Naw, this is vastly oversimplifying. Mankind will go to space in our millions, but it's not even possible until we're unified in world socialism. Denying this is nihilism. The march of history IS toward ever-greater mastery over productive forces, independent of anyone's will.

Unfortunately, Third Worldism is a kind of self-preserving error, because its adherents usually reject—from first principles—any need to do the social investigation that would prove things are more complex than the metaphysical worldview they insist on.
@dickdollars3 @DomTechnostate Third-Worldism is counterproductive and unscientific except as a general expectation that, as we organize the "lower and deeper" here and work our way "up," we'll hit a lower ceiling than in the 3W. The ceiling can only be found in practice, no one rn actually knows where it is.

This illustrates what @RoterPartisan points out: the same horrific housing conditions in NYC cost way more absolute surplus value than in Houston. Somehow the Houstonian worker is mathematically less chauvinist despite the same shitty conditions.
Me, a friend of the working class, talking to a New Yorker who lives in mold and roach infested public housing: you only have this bc imperialism and you’re a member of the ruling class.

At no point did Lenin say not to fight for anything that increased the surplus value going to or expended on account of imperialist country workers.
@probablykaffe incredibly funny that nothing you've said is much different from lenin when he fought socialists in western Europe during the second internationale who prioritized their working class gaining a share of colonial-imperial plundering.
