3/ Same Delta tables, same BI tools—just a lot less waiting. Curious how it works? We broke it down in our latest blog:
feldera.com
We replaced periodic Spark jobs with the Feldera Incremental View Maintenance (IVM) engine. Feldera picks up changes to lower-tier tables and updates higher-tier tables in real-time, reducing the...

2/ Instead of a full re-architecture, we swapped out the batch jobs for Feldera’s Incremental View Maintenance engine. Now, gold-layer dashboards update in seconds, not hours. The best part? The rest of the stack stayed untouched.

🧵1/ Real-Time Medallion, No Re-Architecture Required. A customer came to us with a classic Medallion setup: Spark + Delta Lake, batch jobs moving data from bronze to gold. It worked—until users started asking for fresher insights.

NULLs are smallest in MySQL, Spark, etc., but largest in Oracle & Postgres, so programs can give different results. Some think NULLS LAST means "Make NULLs largest", but it means "sort ascending or descending, THEN consider nulls to come LAST".
