Long overdue! Thinking of a gorgeous kiddo from my region, born in Australia with severe Cerebral Palsy due to medical errors during their birth. Family had to publicly campaign via the media to get their permanent residency approved.
From tomorrow, children with disability born in Australia who need to apply for visas won't need to meet the migration health requirement. Thanks @welcomingdisab and others who have advocated for this, and the former Minister @andrewjgiles for facilitating these welcome changes.
