This holiday season, we’re helping families gather around the table with a holiday meal. The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama is distributing 20,000 Holiday Food Boxes across our service area to ensure our neighbors have the ingredients they need for a special meal.

November was a big month at the Community Food Bank! With your support, we held emergency distributions for federal workers, delivered 450 holiday boxes in Talladega, and provided 1.7M meals to neighbors facing hunger. Thank you, volunteers and donors—you make this possible!

Today, we’re especially grateful for our neighbors, volunteers, partners, and supporters who make our mission possible. We wish you and your loved ones a peaceful, joyful Thanksgiving! In observance of the holiday, our office will be closed Nov. 27 & 28. We will reopen on Dec. 1.

We’re thrilled to be a recipient of the Norfolk Southern Thriving Communities Grant. In addition to their volunteer efforts with the Community Food Bank, this grant will support our Mobile Pantry program, with 200,000 meals distributed across central Alabama.
