yes you should go to local shows & see small bands at small venues but also i think it’s completely reasonable to also want to see a popular artist without taking out a personal loan

one thing cities like minneapolis and chicago are doing that id love to see nationally are "ice watches" which are groups of people who go outside to make sure they observe anything that could be dangerous to their community. they walk with whistles and dearrest when possible
& i highly encourage everyone to look into minneapolis’ response to ice and how they’ve mobilized as well. it’s insanely coordinated and so much is being suppressed from you if you are not seeking it out. theres a lot to learn about how they are protecting their neighbors.
