Students in Vandergriff’s GT program took a field trip to Washington Regional to explore neurology, the brain, and the nervous system. As part of their GT curriculum, this visit gave them the opportunity to see real-world connections to what they are learning in the classroom.

The Arkansas SkyDome Planetarium brought the wonders of space to Holt Middle School 5th graders! Inside the giant inflatable dome, students explored the Moon’s surface, identified constellations, and discovered fascinating facts about planets, stars, and galaxies.
