I don’t think I’ve given enough credit to the love I have for Saoirse Tallulah. It deserves more room, more recognition. I treasure what we’ve built and shared over time, yet it often feels like I’ve been the one held and given to, rather than the one offering as much in return.

It’s almost too sweet how I spent the weekend running errands with Mom, sharing little jokes along the way. Feels like two girls out for fun, plotting another cooking session and all! Such a heartwarming weekend, even rain couldn’t wash away the charm of it all.

It honestly would’ve worked better as a series, with each episode giving space to one book. Still, it sparked my curiosity! I’m considering reading the books now. There’s clearly more to the story, and I’m left wanting to understand the parts the movie couldn’t fully explore.

Went into The Thursday Murder Club (2025) craving a cozy comedy-mystery and honestly enjoyed the performances. Still, it felt a bit hurried that I even blamed the writing at first, only to realize later it’s adapted from a whole book series! I should’ve caught that sooner.

As Juyeon’s birthday approaches, I find myself hoping that I might see him again as I did last year. It’s a simple tradition I’ve had since 2024. If the timing allows and paths happen to cross once more, I’d be grateful to experience that moment again, however briefly!

The rain draws my thoughts toward Oscar Wilde, and in that moment, I find myself settled; at ease, wholly where I belong! This book reads like leafing through his Twitter posts, witty, sharp, never dull! And I adored how effortlessly clever (unapologetic, even) his words were.

What hurt most was knowing that Daisy Randone’s pain isn’t confined to fiction; there are real lives that have owned the same wound. Real people live with this pain, right here among us. I only hope we learn to recognize mental illness for what it really is without dismissing it.

Revisiting Girl, Interrupted (1999) after all these years felt heavier than I expected. Details I once missed now sit sharply in place. Seeing it again left a bitter weight in me, realizing how many people in that institution knew what Daisy’s father had done, yet chose silence.
