The police arrived not long after, and they brought him. “Well, glad that’s over. Now I can rest,” she mumbled as she opens another portal to her home. ( END )

“Are you okay, sir?” Celine asks the founder. He nods. She lets out a sigh of relief. “You know, I gotta admit, you’re smart, but I’m smarter,” she says to the murderer as she pulls him up and escorts him out of the hotel. —

She enters the room and finds the founder and the murderer ready to stab him. “Stop right there!” They both looked at Celine, and the murderer tries attacking her, but she blinks behind him and caught him off-guard, then she quickly pins him down. —

Before he could say anything else, Celine already opened a portal that leads to the hotel. She quickly enters it. When she arrived at the hotel, she approached the receptionist and asked what room he is at. She immediately runs towards the room. The door was opened. —

Celine quickly walks out of the building and approaches the officer in-charge. “Call the company’s founder. Now.” The officer immediately pulls up his phone and calls the founder. No answer. “What hotel is he staying at?” The officer says the hotel name.

She opens up the report card again and starts observing the victim’s identity. “This one’s a co-founder, the last three were a chairman, a vice president, and a CEO, and they all came from the same company. So, their next target would be… the founder.” —

“Huh, this case feels somewhat familiar.” Celine tries to recall her memories, and she was right. She already investigated three cases with the same method, only with different victims. “Same time, same wounds, and they all died in hotel rooms. Kinda feels like… a pattern.” —

“Let’s see, the victim was stabbed on the stomach. Based on the wound, it’s gotta be something sharp, most likely a knife. Since it’s nowhere to be found, the culprit must have brought it with them.” She explains it while taking notes on her notebook, so she doesn’t forget. —

Celine enters the hotel room and finds it really messy, whether it’s from the murder or from the police searching the place, she doesn’t even know. First things first, she looks for the weapon used in the murder. —

When she arrived, police are still there searching the whole place for clues. “Found anything?” she asked. They shake their head. “Yeah, I thought so.” One of the officers handed her a report card. She starts flipping through the pages. It fits the ones from the phone call. —

“You guys can’t do anything without me, huh?” After taking notes of all the details she needed, she starts getting ready to go to the crime scene. Wearing her usual coat and hat, she heads towards the hotel where the murder takes place. —
