An-Nawawi said, “The believer is imprisoned and prohibited in the world from forbidden desires and disapproved acts, being responsible to do laborious acts of obedience.”

But the believer knows that no happiness here is everlasting and that they are always in danger of falling into the hands of Satan. They, therefore, long to get out of the exam that this world is and into the safety of the grave.

There are indeed many things that can be enjoyed in this world. A person who is not looking forward to meeting their Lord, would spend their every moment trying to maximize their enjoyment here, short-lived though it is. Thus, the nonbeliever can find this world to be a Paradise.

A believer is ever mindful of Allah/God. Therefore, he/she is not free to do what they please. That is why this world feels like a prison to them. On the other hand, a person who is not mindful of God, does whatever they feel like, or whatever they think they can get away with.

“The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the unbeliever.” -Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Reference: Sahih Muslim 2956

The believers are brothers, so reconcile between your brothers, and remain conscious of God, so that you may receive mercy. Quran 49:10

He created the heavens and the earth with Truth and shaped you, giving you excellent shapes. And to Him is your ultimate return. He knows what is in the heavens and the earth, and knows what you conceal and what you disclose. Allah knows what lies hidden in the breasts of people.

Truly those who disbelieve spend their wealth to turn people away from the path of God. They will continue to spend it until it becomes a source of sorrow for them. Then they will be defeated. ―Quran 8:36

Allah accepts the repentance of those who commit evil in ignorance, then repent soon after - Allah will pardon them. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. —Quran 4:17

To Allah belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and everything in them, and He is Capable of everything. —Quran 5:120

All human beings will be resurrected and brought before the Almighty to be judged. On that day, everyone will stand alone before God. God knows all that you do. —Quran 16:91

O you human being! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? He Who created you, and formed you, and proportioned you? In whatever shape He willed, He assembled you. —Quran 82:6-8

Do you think you'll enter Paradise without being tested like those before you? They were touched by suffering and hardship and were so shaken that even the messenger and the believers with him cried "When will Allah's help arrive?" Indeed Allah's help is always near ―Quran 2:214

We have revealed to you (Muhammad) as We revealed to Noah and the Prophets after him, and We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the offspring of Jacob, and Jesus and Job, and Jonah, and Aaron and Solomon, and We gave to David Psalms. ―Quran 4:163

The believers and The hypocrites in The Quran.

“A believer does not taunt, curse, abuse or talk indecently.” ―Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Reference: Riyad as-Salihin, Book 18, Hadith 224

God has the Most Beautiful Names. So call upon Him by them, and keep away from those who abuse His Names. They will be punished for what they used to do. — Quran 7:180 this is a list of some Names of God [Names of Allah]

Alif-Lãm-Mĩm. Allah! There is no god except Him—the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Surely nothing on earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah. He is the One Who shapes you in the wombs of your mothers as He wills. There is no god except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise. —Quran 3:1-6
