And if you look at the ending of season 1, it was almost clear as day that Farah was supposed to survive the attack, just look at her eyes. There are probably other powerful fairies in the other world but no one has the emotional connection to the girls as Dowling did.

Unpopular opinion but I think they should have recasted Farah instead of writing her off the show! Eve Best was the best actress to play Farah. However, Dowling is vital to the story and the girls need someone who can teach them properly! #FateTheWinxSaga
