So, dapatlah product yg kita nak tu. Antaranya, paling basic via fermentation ni ada cuka (vinegar) or citric acid, ethanol, lactic acid, segala jenis cultured drinks tu atau ubatan. Ada banyak lagi contoh, nanti cerita lain la ye.

Last, polishing chromatography. Yg ni utk dapat a very pure product as high as 98 - 100% purity, takde campur² dah. Kita guna chromatography sebab dia ni sangat sensitif. Equipment ni cuma akan detect apa yg kita suruh saja, lain dia takkan buat dah. Obidient sungguh ha!

Lepas centrifuge, proceed with concentration. Ni direct la kan, nak pekatkan liquid tadi tu n remove excess water. Tapi bukan le masak atas dapur. Ni kdg guna vacuum drying or ultrafiltration contohnya.

Ok, cukup time kita stop n harvest. Mula² tapis tapi guna centrifuge sebab nak asingkan molecules semua ikut berat. Yg ni kadang liquid tu buang, ambik balik microbe tu, kadang dlm liquid tu yg ada product. Depends on our product.

Next, yg dah modify tu masukkan dalam bioreactor. Along with medium (food + vitamins) utk dia grow n supaya kita dapat produk yg banyak. Masa ni segala temp, pH, oxygen level semua kena decide n monitor. Bagi apa yg microbe tu suka so that dia happy kat dalam tu n beranak pinak.
