I will never understand that. No one should ever trust this ownership group to be a good steward of this football team. An absolute joke of a franchise and it starts up top.

But what do people say about football? Something about the oblong nature of the ball and the unpredictable ways that it bounces that give credence to the belief that any team can beat another on any given Sunday. Instead, the decision was made from above to just scrap the season.

They just threw away a year with an elite defense. It was as if they had a great track record and were telling us to just trust them that they would get their act together and regroup for next season. That we should forget the last four decades of futility and incompetence.

To me, the most unforgivable thing about the Jets this season is how management and ownership just punted away a season because Rodgers got injured. The injury happened in Week 1 and they stood pat and did NOTHING. #NYJ
