“When the Sea came to our village, she was an old woman.” Really enjoyed “The Day of the Sea” by @HudakWrites in @fandsf. The Sea comes to a village that struggles to adapt. Thought-provoking exploration of what we can/can’t do when nature comes for us. https://t.co/EXgM46upZP

My long scifi/horror poem "Vanishing Act", about dead twins and stars, has been published in the Winter 2024 issue of @fandsf. It's a Rapunzel retelling featuring amoral alchemists, cosmic castles, and teratoma growths. Many thanks to editor @blackpotmojo for choosing it!

Don’t mind me, I’m just a Brit attempting to do a last-minute awards eligibility post despite my very British aversion to blowing my own trumpet. Sorry about this. Anyway, here are the works I had published this year, all short fiction: 🧵1/6 https://t.co/aeTQiCKgwE

OK hold my hand, because I've never written one of these before, and as a Brit, self-promotion makes my skin itch. But 2023 was a good year for me for short fiction publications, so I'm going to make...

Tangent Online reviews my new @fandsf tale: "This horror story creates an uneasy mood right away, and sustains it throughout... terrifying aspects of the plot [are] both subtle and gruesome. This chilling tale is sure to satisfy those readers seeking the darkest kind of fantasy"

It's that time of year again, and we're signal boosting awards eligibility posts for @fandsf authors. Check them out and support your favorite works!
"Approved Methods of Love Divination in the First-Rate City of Dushagorod" in @fandsf! A declining empire weaponizes matchmaking using an elaborate system of cootie catchers and soda-can tabs. A group of women refuse to obey. https://t.co/ff5vA8gqRu Reviewed in @locusmag!

Still small potatoes for full on Awards Eligibility Post™, but it would mean the world to me if you could grab the March/April issue of @fandsf for my first ever short story in English, Mnemonic Longings (plus many other super talented writers!).
