AFSCME DC 47 prez just told me the tentative agreement is a three-year tentative deal with raises of 2.5%, 3%, 3%. Also includes improvements to longevity schedule and shift differentials which are supposed to help boost pay for some members. Read more below.
AFSCME DC 47 and Mayor Parker’s administration reached a tentative agreement early Tuesday morning, averting the potential of a second city worker strike this month. Parker is expected to share details of the agreement in a news conference tomorrow. Story in 🧵.
