5 partners of #BovReg performed sequence-based GWAS for 28 beef production traits on 50K animals from 15 different #cattle . Results were combined in meta-analyses to identify a higher number of #genomic regions in which variants were more frequently located in genes.🧬🐮

EuroFAANG is a coordinated effort to unravel the connection between the genetic make-up of an animal and the observable physical and physiological traits. EuroFAANG will address key challenges in farmed animal production in collaboration with the global @faangomics initiative.

Given much consideration of current situation of the PAG meeting. FAANG Workshop organizers have decided to reschedule the FAANG Workshop to the second half of February. Specific details of the workshop will be shared with the community in the next week.
