Love this. Not much different from the exam procedures for tenured faculty positions at many Brazilian public universities.
This is the philosophy subject for the 2025 entrance exam of France's École Normale Supérieure: just two words in quotation marks, "Tu dois" ("You must"). The candidates had 6 hours to write their essay around this 😅. For those who aren't familiar with it, École Normale
