The YouTube comment section is the most toxic and the most genuine. There’s such a deeper level of resonance than other platforms:

“The reward for conformity is that everyone likes you but yourself.”. In a space where everyone’s building in public—sharing wins, sharing tips—this one’s been sitting heavy on the moodboard.

I go through phases of wanting to be online — right now, I don’t. But I still feel compelled to make these vlogs. They’re not fun. They take forever. I cringe at my own voice. But each videos small impact is unreasonably rewarding. Check it out:.

Imagine spending 4+ hours on a client proposal when they spend 30 seconds skimming through it or never open it at all. Win clients over in conversation, not in elaborate proposals.

For all my ADHD friends (aka everyone lol) 👇. Time is on your side. So rarely do people become successful doing 8 different things. They choose 1 focus to double down on. I believe they’re comfortable doing that because they know they'll get to the other things with time.

Waiting around for clients to come to you is a great way to miss your rent. Take matters into your own hands with cold email. if you found value, I'll bet your friends will too. Jump back & retweet the first tweet:.

Step 6.) Sending Emails. Most people send 30 emails & get discouraged when no one replies. But volume is key in the beginning of your cold email journey. You need tons of at-bats to learn what’s working & what isn’t. I shared my 4-step follow-up system below:.

I've sent 50,000 cold emails. But the follow-ups made my small business +$240,000/yr. Here's the 4-step email system that made it all happen 🧵.

Step 5.) Finding Leads. Reach out to the wrong leads & you'll waste your time. Be a detective––find digital breadcrumbs like:. • Revenue size.• # of employees.• Category. These signifiers will help you find the right leads w/ lead-gen platforms (s/o Store Leads).

Step 4.) A/B Testing Your Script. In order to know what led to a cold email fail/success –– you must isolate variables. Rule of thumb: Only make one edit to your script at a time. Send version A to 60 leads, send B to another 60. Compare open & reply rates. Rinse & repeat.

Step 3.) Script Writing. I wrote a concise guide on writing cold emails below. One major edit learned since publishing it:. IF your personalization sounds corny or contrived, it will hurt you. These days, I skip personalization. Instead, I go straight into my Who, What, & Why:.

Step 2.) The Offer. If your offer sucks, NO ONE will reply––your offer is everything. People don't buy what you do,. they buy why you do it. The "Why Test" has always helped me get clear on my "Why" & craft better offers as a result:.

99% of being a successful freelancer is knowing your "why". If your why is to make money, you’ll sound like everyone else. Having a clear "why" gives you a 🕯️ in a dark room. Don't know your why? Keep reading. .

Step 1.) Start with the Work. When you cold email someone––they'll immediately think:. "Is this person worth my time?". Prove it with your work. Whether it's a:. • Portfolio site.• A pdf.• Your social profile. Expensive sites are overrated, just make it easy to view work.
