Most of us know about Gen. Patton’s 3 divisions making a 90 deg turn in snow and battle to help win the Battle of the Bulge. I’m so proud of how our teachers stopped dead in their tracks; with little warning, and valiantly tried to retool and bring lessons to kids in a new way.

I’ve had a lot of different job titles during my career in education. However, the one I prefer and the one that gives me the greatest source of pride by far is:. “TEACHER.”

Referenced this book a few weeks ago. I believe in the ideas therein. The coach’s philosophy is built on 14 non-negot. prncipals. Two are: .NO SHAMING ANY STUDENT EVER, ATHLETE OR NOT;.NO PLAYER WILL ALLOW ANY STUDENT TO EAT ALONE!.How might these ideas help your stud’s?

I found this today on L’nked In. Principals, find your “irreplaceables;” tell them and treat them accordingly. Find the right balance for them so they have time to work their magic.
