Excited to present our work at @TACTraumaCanada and to see where we can take this. Once you start using rTEE for the sickest patients you won’t go back. @ross_prager @kellynvogt @KaanBalta_ @arntfield.

FAST probably seemed crazy too when Dr. Rozycki first described it. TEE for resus has been a game changer for us. Well presented by @ewwalser and well moderated by @Anikoul

Look out for new content from @CANUCSurg @rich_hilsden regarding the couple of answers and many ongoing questions about #resusTEE in trauma!.

Had a great time with @rich_hilsden and @ewwalser on the @CANUCSurg podcasts discussing trauma #tee. Poor surgeons are going to have to listen to this internist / intensivist… I only brought up urine sodium as a joke, I promise!

This project was first conceived while @ross_prager helped me with a TEE for a trauma patient I had operated on the night before, whose hemodynamics didn't make sense- until the TEE. Incredibly gratifying experience as a surgeon and (future) intensivist.
