I feel this pain. It's almost never worth it.
At a past company, the head of engineering and the principal engineers decided to break our Ruby on Rails application into a Go microservices mesh. They created very detailed design documents and architecture diagrams. They went all out and used Kubernetes, gRPC, service

The problem with upwork is the numerous red flags. "We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to complete and refine a large-scale web application already 70–80% complete on Replit. The infrastructure is in place, but we need a developer who can finalize the core workflows,

This is the definition of a red flag 🚩 “ We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer who isn’t just seeking a paycheck — but a partnership.” “ No hourly or contract pay — compensation is equity- or profit-share–based, tied to contribution and milestones.” https://t.co/VsMGGwLFKi

One of the biggest improvements I've made to my workflow recently has to be automating as much of my setup as possible through chezmoi. Installation of libraries and dotfile configurations, all managed through chezmoi. Moving from computer to computer is effortless.

The end of an era. One of the bands that got me into music before I was a teenager. Gotta see them live before they go out.
The end is here. Our Self-titled studio album is out January 23rd. Pre-order now. https://t.co/RoXSskJ8YQ

I wonder how the @official_php community is these days. I haven't touched it full time since 5.3. A couple brief projects with it, but never enough time to appreciate the maturity it seems to have achieved.

I think the @AnthropicAI team nailed it with code when they decided to make it a cli. It might have been a time saving mvp when it started, but it really is a superior interface. All tools on the cli are now accessible.

The correlation between companies stating AI was the reason for layoffs and H1b visa applications being filed is telling.

I'm test driving @charmcli . Even though the value prop with claude code is there, it's been a bit slow the last 2-3 months. I've been using mostly grok-code-fast for my model. I've been really happy with my results. Though, I wish it had a contextual model selection.

One of the biggest changes I've made recently has been codifying my computer setup. It takes me less than an hour to be up and running 100% on a different computer now. I used chezmoi to manage dot files and manage packages across homebrew, pacman, npm, mise, one-liner bash.

I never changed from master. It was a meaningless virtue signal to begin with from a false political movement. My servers are still slaves and masters too. Also whitelist and blacklist are still a thing in my projects.
Yes, Omarchy runs on master. So will every project I start from here-on out. I got fooled by the good-faith exploit once, but won't repeat that mistake.

Just over a week in, and I'm pretty sure I'm keeping my Lenovo 9i 2-in-1 with @OmarchyLinux Time to list the M1 Max MBP 16" on Marketplace.

Underrated comment. On a daily basis, this would have me cursing at my computer.
One of the understated joys of @OmarchyLinux is that it isn't constantly trying to correct what you type. Even if it's home screen.
