Nimbus (@ethnimbus) builds lightweight Ethereum clients for home stakers. Their consensus client is battle-tested and widely used, with an execution client on the way, continuing Nimbusβs focus on efficiency and accessibility for everyday node runners. https://t.co/hzwYCISHjH

Etan Kissling from @ethnimbus and @caymannan are the authors of EIP 7688. Please correct me if I made any mistakes in my attempt to mobilise coordination, and I will improve. :)
Some Ethereum upgrades are loud. π’ Some are quiet but absolutely foundational. π EIP-7688: Forward Compatible Consensus Data Structures is the second kind. Itβs now in Review. π«΅ If you are a smart contract developer (especially staking protocols), hardware wallet, Mobile OS

Argentina is no stranger to parallel systems. Stablecoins support a $300bn+ grassroots economy to protect people against a hyperinflationary peso. At Devconnect, we met with builders continuing this tradition locally and others striving for global change. The highlights β

Client diversity isnβt optional. We run 3,136 validators on minority stacks (@Nethermind + @ethnimbus). If youβre heavy on Lighthouse, shift capacity. Finality should never hinge on one client!
Turns out this data is accurate (we just had ~23% of the network fall off due to a bug with Prysm). If Lighthouse had had the bug instead, then the network would've lost finalization (not good)! So if you're a node operator (especially a big one) running Lighthouse, it's time

Client diversity matters on days like these! Minority clients are holding the fort - go run more minority clients @ethnimbus or @lodestar_eth β°

We've been running @ethnimbus for a long time in resource-constrained devices and it's been great in terms of performance and resiliency. If you are running Lighthouse please consider switching to other CL client.

Dug into @ethnimbus If I had to pick one to focus on, Iβd lean Nimbus (Ethereum client) itβs infrastructure, lower hype/bubble risk, higher potential for long-term foundational value. If youβre talking about the Nimbus platform token version then Iβd treat with caution. $ETH

If anyone has connections with @Wikimedia, Michel is asking for help with the P2P Foundation wiki. This is a public good that has supported countless people. Now it needs our support.
It's going to be a week without the P2P Foundation wiki. We had reached a billion views before 2018. Then we stopped counting, but a few months ago, our server people told us we had 2 million 'hits' per week still. I definitely am witness to the hundreds of people I met and told

@jimmygchen @ethnimbus Yesss Also if you want to run as separate EL and CL, the single binary allows that interface too

This is really cool! didn't realise @ethnimbus already runs CL+EL in one process. Not ideal for large operators (client diversity), but the single binary UX is great for users who just need chain access. We explored something similar with Lighthouse+Reth:
@rakitadragan Except the package management part, already possible on @ethnimbus running Ethereum in a single node / process, both as a wallet/web3 backend and as a validator. More info on PR here: https://t.co/Rhg534iMw0
